Road destroyed by flooding caused by cyclone Yaku off the coast of Peru.

Victims of the floods caused by the passage of Cyclone Yaku along the northern coast of Peru, cross a flooded creek carrying sacks of vegetables in Piura, Peru, Civil Defense reported 69 deaths and more than 10,000 victims.

The torrential flow of a river has already completely demolished a house that was near its banks. It is dangerous to stand there, but for the poorest there is sometimes no alternative.
